Is Cash Crate a Scam?? A New User's point of view

Is CashCrate a scam? Like a lot of you, I was curious to find out the deal with CashCrate.com. We've all seen the ads about GPT (Get Paid To) Sites and many of us have experienced the spam, disappointment, and utter frustration of membership. Well, I'm here to expose CashCrate with an unbiased review that will span the next several months as I gather various information. What is the verdict so far? I have yet to be disappointed.

I discovered CashCrate.com through partner offers of the online games I play and at first I was wary, thinking that only spambots and scam artists advertise in this manner. I have to admit that I hoped the ad was true to its word and I might be able to earn money without spending a dime. The interest drove me to scan other blogs, reviews, and websites in search of something, anything saying this site wasn't legit. The truth is, most of what I found was positive...and also straightforward. The few reviews that claimed it was a scam had many "hear hear" and "I agree" posts, but they were by people who didn't quite grasp the concept and could not reach the minimum payout.

This drove me to try it, after all signing up is free. It was 4 a.m. the morning of November 29th, 41 hours before the payment cutoff of the month. How much could I possibly make in that amount of time? I swore that if I couldn't make the minimum payout before the midnight deadline on the 30th I would quit and delete my CashCrate account. It's now the morning of December 2nd and my account with CashCrate.com is still active. I'll be expecting my first check in the amount of $20.85 USD sometime before the end of December.

CashCrate is NOT a get rich quick scheme and it's definitely not a job, you put in your own hours and get the amount you decide you want to make. On the other side you DO have to put in the effort to earn the cash. Don't sign up expecting to be paid $500 in your first month, I'm not saying it can't be done but it's just not likely.

You can make a pretty decent hourly rate from home though once you get the hang of it. Just starting out I was able to complete offers at about $4 an hour and then once I learned the basics I was earning $8 every hour with breaks. It took me about 10 hours total to reach my payout goal of $20. Are you doing the math? I completed offers totaling $86.70 before the deadline, but many took too long to be confirmed from the advertisers. I had $65.85 sitting in the Pending Earnings page after midnight.

Don't be alarmed, I will be seeing a lot of the offers confirmed over the next week. I'm not expecting all of it to go through though because I didn't know the proper method of completing offers until the very end. I'll be sharing the rest of what I learned in the near future. For now, let me mention what else CashCrate has to offer.

Aside from the money you earn from completing the online offers and surveys, CashCrate also credits you with rebates when you shop at certain sites, an interesting referral program, different contests, great prizes, fun games, and a helpful forum filled with a very involved community. There is also a promotion center that helps you understand methods you can utilize to earn more cash. The features provide a great way to take a break from the offer grind and can be quite rewarding.

Today's Final Word? CashCrate.com is a useful site that gives you an opportunity to make a decent supplementary income in your spare time. It is a great option for anyone 13 and older to make a bit of cash. Those that are down on their luck, having trouble finding a steady job, or are unable to perform at a regular job will probably find this site priceless. Sign up is free so take a chance with it. Just be sure to use a different email than your main inbox, there are a lot of spam messages. ;)

I'll be posting pictures of the check I receive and will be posting more about CashCrate and other GPT or cash earning sites so check back every once in a while to stay up to date. I'd also love to hear from you and answer questions you may have. Thanks for reading.

  1. I sure didn't get my money. I made $5.65 the first day and then the second I did $24. All $24 vanished from like 40 different offers. Only the $5.65 I had earned the first day remains. I filled out the offers very maticulously. So between that and having them ignore my messages, I'm pretty sure they rip people off. Good luck to you. I hope you get your check.

  3. Was the $24 in your pending offers page or your confirmed offers page? Also, how long were they sitting in there before they disappeared? I'd like to gather as much info as I can and I really appreciate the input you've provided :)

  4. Awesome site! Great info and I love your "experiements."

To answer Stefan above -- if money sits in "pending" for 2 weeks, it is removed. If something did not clear within those 2 weeks, it isn't going to. Follow the instructions on this site. If you are not doing offers correctly, they will not clear - it's that simple!
